The Gunite Group offer a variety of epoxy, polyurethane, polyurea and cement silicate-based specialist materials for the chemical resistant lining of containment bunds, chambers, and manholes. Our systems can be used within manufacturing, heavy industry, power generation and clean and wastewater environments.

Gunite have a variety of silicate based cementitious lining materials for the remedial repair and lining of sub-terrain structures affected by H2S Hydrogen Sulphide found within wastewater and oil industries. H2S is widely regarded as the most corrosive of chemicals and is known to be particularly aggressive within reinforced concrete structures. Gunite provide spray applied H2S resistant liners for the use in manholes, sludge digesters and wet wells. Gunite can provide and install protective coatings to your bund tank, chamber or silo and have a variety of proven materials that are capable of dealing with the full Ph range.

A containment bund is also widely known as the secondary containment. Its purpose is to hold 110% of the liquid should the primary containment fail. Bunds are typically made of either concrete, brick, or metal.
