Linear Gap Seals are flexible, water-resistant, intumescent seals that expand when exposed to heat. This expansion stops the spread of smoke and fire to other building compartments.
They are a versatile means of sealing junctions between building elements against fire penetration.
The compressible foam core accommodates different joint sizes to allow for structural movement whilst additionally meeting requirements for cold smoke seal, thermal and acoustic properties. Standard sizes are available to suit voids up to 150mm and provide up to 2-hour fire resistance.
