Gunite was proud to participate as the waterproofing contractor on Project Ziggy Stardust. Named after the famed David Bowie character, this was the refurbishment of a Victorian warehouse in London.
To expand its offices in King’s Cross, global publishing company Springer Nature wanted to transform a disused 100-year-old basement into modern work space for its staff. Due to its waterside location and susceptibility to damp, a proven waterproof solution was essential to ensure the basement remained watertight.
As the specialist waterproofing contractor, Gunite (Eastern) Ltd selected and applied Sika’s three-part waterproof render system to guarantee its long-term protection against damp and water ingress.
