The works involved cutting 2no. 25mm deep horizontal chases in the newly formed structure and preparing the surface to receive an additional 25mm of cover. Stainless steel mesh was utilised to ensure a permanent solution and Fosroc HB45 concrete repair mortar specified as the overlay materials.
