Built in 1975, the estate had external stairways which lead to small asphalt entrance balconies for the 1st floor flats. A complete stairway refurbishment was needed to prevent water penetration into the electricity meter cupboards, as well as to improve surface areas to help reduce the risk of slips and falls.
