We operate a BSI registered Integrated Management System (IMS) for Quality, Health & Safety, and the Environment. Our BSI Occupational Health & Safety Management System complies with the requirements of BS ISO 45001:2018. The accreditation also covers us under the Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP).
Our NEBOSH qualified Health & Safety Consultant (Technician member of IOSH) provides our employees, operatives and subcontractors with competent advice and is responsible for ensuring that all safety legislation is adhered to and that policies and practices are adopted.
Additionally, our Health & Safety Consultant helps to plan, implement, monitor and review the protective and preventative measures that are required, working to minimise operational losses, occupational health problems, accidents and injuries.
The Gunite Group Health & Safety Officer is supported by an active Health & Safety Committee consisting of Directors, Senior Managers and representatives who meet regularly to discuss and review our Health & Safety strategy, procedures and regulatory standards.
